- 〇 Could you take me through your professional experience?
- 〇 Can you walk me through your career so far?
Resume
「Tell me about yourself.
Walk me through your resume.
Start → Progression → Present → Connection
|---|---|---|
| Start | Where did your career begin? |
| Progression | How did your career develop? |
| Present | What are you doing now?
| Connection | How does your background connect to this opportunity? |
I started my career in software development, mainly working on enterprise applications.
I later moved into project management and gradually took on larger cross-functional projects.
Today, I lead technology projects involving teams across several countries.
That experience is what attracted me to this opportunity.
Start → Progression → Present → Connection

Answer
I began my career in environmental compliance and later moved into sustainability projects. My responsibilities expanded to include cross-functional initiatives and regulatory coordination. Today, I oversee environmental programs across multiple sites.
First, I worked at Company A. Then Company B. Then Company C.
I started in…
I later moved into…
I gradually took on more responsibility for…
Today, I…
Currently, I’m responsible for…
That experience connects closely with this role.
That’s what attracted me to this opportunity.
I joined Company A in 2011. Then I moved to Company B in 2014. In 2017, I joined Company C…
I started my career in accounting and gradually moved into broader finance roles with greater responsibility for planning and business partnering.
In my first position, I prepared reports, attended meetings, managed documents, contacted customers…
Could you tell me more about that role?
I’ve worked in several different industries and held many different positions.
Those experiences have prepared me well for this role.
|---|---|---|
| Walk me through your resume.
| Can you summarize your career?
| Tell me about yourself.
| What do you do currently?
| Tell me about your professional background.
Walk me through your resume.
と
Can you summarize your career?
Walk me through your resume.
Can you summarize your career?
Walk me through your resume.
= Where did you start, and how did you get here?
Can you summarize your career?
= What has your career been about?

Walk me through your resume.
「Resume
I started my career in engineering.
そして、
I later moved into project management and took on broader responsibility.
Today, I lead cross-functional projects across several markets.
That experience connects closely with this role.
Start → Progression → Present → Connection
Walk me through your resume.
Start → Progression → Present → Connection
「Where have I worked?」だけでなく、「How did I get here, and why does this role make sense next?」
