Do you have any questions?
No, I don’t have any questions.
Interest → Insight → Question → Follow-up
|---|---|---|
| Interest | What are you genuinely interested in?
| Insight | What have you understood so far? |
| Question | What would you like to understand better? |
| Follow-up | Can you explore the answer further? |
I’m very interested in how success is defined in this role.
From our conversation, it sounds like the role works closely with several cross-functional teams.
What would you say are the most important priorities for the person in this role during the first six months?
That’s helpful. What tends to be the biggest challenge in achieving that?
Interest → Insight → Question → Follow-up
Question
Yes, thank you. I’d like to understand how this role partners with the business. What are the key decisions or areas where you would expect the Finance Manager to have the greatest impact?
Question
Yes. You mentioned close collaboration with engineering and design teams. What would you say is the biggest product challenge the team is currently trying to solve?
Question
Yes, I do. What would success look like for someone in this position during the first six to twelve months, especially in terms of customer relationships and business results?
Question
Yes, thank you. I’d like to understand the team’s current priorities. What are the biggest people or organizational challenges you would like this role to help address?
Question
Yes. I’d be interested to understand how data science contributes to business decisions here. Could you share an example of how the team’s analysis or models have influenced an important business decision?
Question
Yes, thank you. What are the most important marketing priorities for the team over the next year, and where would you expect the person in this role to make the biggest contribution?
Question
Yes. I’d like to understand what success looks like in this role. What are the most important projects or challenges you would expect the new Project Manager to take ownership of first?
Question
Yes, I do. What are the biggest supply chain challenges the team is currently facing, and where would you expect someone in this role to make the most immediate impact?
Question
Yes, thank you. I’d be interested to know what distinguishes people who perform exceptionally well in this role, particularly when working with clients on complex or ambiguous business problems.
Question
Yes. I’d like to understand how I could best support the executive in this role. What working style or qualities have been most effective in building a strong partnership with this executive?
You mentioned earlier that…
What would success look like in the first six months?
✅ Job Description
No, I don’t have any questions.
You’ve answered many of my questions already, but I do have one. What would success look like in this role during the first six months?
How much vacation will I get?
role / team / expectations / business priorities
Is the team collaborative?
How would you describe the way the team collaborates across functions?
What would success look like in this role during the first six months?
What are the most important priorities for this role right now?
What are the biggest challenges the team is currently facing?
How does this team typically collaborate with other functions?
What qualities tend to make someone successful on your team?
How do you see this role evolving over the next few years?
| Do you have any questions? |
| Is there anything else you’d like to know?
| Do you have any concerns about the role? |
| Is there anything else you’d like to add? |
| Do you have any final thoughts? |
Do you have any questions?
と
Is there anything else you’d like to add?

You mentioned earlier that…
From what you’ve shared today…
Interest → Insight → Question → Follow-up
Do you have any questions?
Interest → Insight → Question → Follow-up
