今日のイディオム は“all ears”でーす！

To be “all ears” means to be eager to hear/listen to what someone has to say.

“all ears”の意味は、何か起きた事や人が起こした事の詳細を聞きたくてしょうがない様子。

一心に耳を傾ける様子。耳がダンボ。

Examples of “all ears”:　例

“What big news were you going to tell me? I’m all ears!”

“何、なんか凄いこと言おうとしてる? 聞きたくてしょうがないんだけど!”

“She came into work and announced she has some important news to share with us. Everyone was all ears, ready to hear it!”

“会社に来るなり、同僚がなんか大事なことを話したいって言ったら、

みんな耳がダンボになっていた!”
