今日のイディオム は“Take a seat”でーす！

To “take a seat”means to sit on couch, chair, stool, or other similar pieces of furniture.

To “take a seat” の意味は、ソファーや椅子などに腰掛けること・すわること。

ー 生命保険の事務所を、情報収集のためおとずれたお客さんと、

その事務所のエージェントとの会話 ー

A: Hi, I’m just looking for some information about life insurance.

A: どーもー、チョット生命保険の事で聞きたいことが有るんですけどー。

B: Ok, I just have to finish speaking with the client in my office…

B: どーぞー、いま、お話してるお客さんが終わったら次に…

A: No problem, I can wait.

A: あー、だいじょうぶ、待ってるから。

B: Please take a seat on the sofa over there, I’ll be with you in a minute.

B: じゃ、この辺のソファーにでもかけて待っててください。すぐ戻りますから。
