Today’s idiom is “fall through”.

今日のイディオム は“fall through”でーす！

“Fall through” means to fail to happen. We usually use this idiom when we are talking about our plans.

“Crack of dawn” の意味は、失敗に終わること・おじゃんになる。通常、計画されたことに対して使うイディオムでーす。

**Note: Past tense of fall through = fell through.

**注：過去形は　fell through。

Examples of “fall through”:　例

“Mary will be disappointed if her plans with John fall through again. She was really looking forward to their second date!”

“もし、ジョンとの2回目のデートがおじゃんになったらがっかりするだろーな!”

A:  Are you still going to the movies with your family tonight?

A:　今夜は家族で映画に行くんだったよね？

B: No, our plans fell through because my dad has to work late tonight.

B:　いやー、お父さんが仕事で遅くなるから、せっかくの計画がおじゃんになっちゃった。
