What do you picture when you hear “on the ball”?

“on the ball”って聞いたら何を思い浮かべる？

To be “on the ball” means to be knowledgeable, to be quick to react and understand something correctly.

“on the ball”の意味は、知識がある・機敏・有能・理解がある・いい調子・優れものなどです。

Examples of  (to be) “on the ball”:　例

“I slept really late last night so I’m not on the ball today.”

“昨日はあんまり寝てないから、機敏に動けない。”

“I directed us very quickly to the new house. I was on the ball!”

“初めてなのに速攻で家に帰ってこれた。いい感じじゃない！”
