Today we are looking at a commonly used English expression.

今回は日常良く使われる言い回しです！

“I can’t be bothered.”

(めんどくさーい！/ めんどくさいなー！)

Example 1: (Talking to someone else)

例１：（自分以外の誰かに言う場合）

Mum: Can you take out the trash?

（ママ：ゴミ出しといてくれる？）

Son: Not now! I can’t be bothered!

（息子：エー、何で今！めんどくさーい！）

Example 2: (Talking to yourself)

例２：（自分自身に言う場合）

“Oh man, my essay is due tomorrow! I can’t be bothered.”

（息子：エー、宿題提出明日までなのに！めんどくさいなー！）

This expression is considered slang and can be used when talking with your friends or during casual situations. We definitely use this expression a lot!

この言い回しは、スラングで友だちとの会話やカジュアルな状況の時に使えます。
