Today’s idiom is “daydream”.

今日のイディオム は“daydream”でーす！

“Daydream” means to think about something not related to

what is happening at that moment.

“Daydream”の意味は、現実に起きていないことを考えること。

想像・空想・想像する・空想する。

**Note: Daydream, daydreaming, daydreamed. 

**注意:　動詞としても使われる。

Examples of “daydream”:　例

“Mary always daydreams during class.

She never answers the teacher when her name is called!”

“メアリーは、いっつも授業中空想ばかりしてんだよねー。

先生にさされても返事すらしないんだから!”

“I couldn’t stop daydreaming at work about where I could go for my next holiday.”

“今度のバケーション楽しみ！想像するだけでモーわくわくする！”

A: How was the movie?

A:　映画どうだった？

B: It was quite boring. I daydreamed for most of the time about

what I was going to do after the movie!

B:　あんまりおもしろくなかった。
